Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV)

Employers can get accreditation to use the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) to hire migrants on visas for up to 3 years. You must pay at least the NZ median wage, unless the role is on an exemption list, and show that you cannot find suitable New Zealanders first.

What is an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV)?

If your organization already has the relevant accreditation and Job Check approved by Immigration New Zealand, then you are ready to commence the third stage of the process which is to submit the Accredited Employer Work Visa application for your skilled migrant.

What do I need to do to submit an AEWV?

We recommend prior to submitting your application, that you establish candidate eligibility and best pathway. We can manage this for you, de-risking the process for both candidate and employer.

We work with you to ensure your business has the relevant job checks and that documents such as employment agreements and job descriptions are compliant and fit for purpose.
